Bloody Hands

A good sword cuts in two directions. A logical thinker must also cut in two directions. The result of not thinking liberally, as in seeing two directions, is that we become arrogant in our opinions and positions. The liberal (the term not being used correctly) left has abandoned this necessary aspect of their thinking. Therefore they are not truly liberal, just opinionated.

The last few blogs have replied to the xenophobic comments of the political right. Their unsympathetic approach to the needs of the masses of people who only want hope is both morally wrong but entirely unchristian. But as the left counterpunches with these two observations, they had better watch the backstroke of the sword. For they are not only hypocrites of the highest order but they also have bloody hands that far more stained than those of Macbeth’s wife.

The outcry of the left is to give the opportunity of for life to the refugee from oppression. What they overlook is that they are whistling in the wind or reason. It is the left that advocates for the slaughter of the unborn. They have no desire at all to see them live, in spite of their protests to the contrary. Over 50 million babies have been murdered in their mother’s womb and the liberal left has cheered on that practice as a morally good choice for the women who make it. At the same time they decry the stoneheartedness of those on the right who would deny sanctuary to the needy.

WIC, a government program for low income families, counts the preborn child as a person in their calculation of family population. They say that the preborn is a person. But far more importantly, God says they are a person, and His declaration is immutable. Now the liberal left not only promotes the WIC program as necessary, but they also say that what that program defines as a person is really not a person at all. They add hypocrisy to hypocrisy, first calling out their opponents for not caring for other people while encouraging and supporting the cause of abortion to murder people that their very own programs count as person.

The liberal left have bloody hands. But they are not alone in having bloody hands. There are actually people who profess faith in Christ who support those who support abortion. They too have bloody hands. Just in case anyone challenges that statement they can read Romans 1:28-32. It is a shame for Christians not only to support those who resist giving refuge to the needy, but an even greater shame to support those who support the murder of the preborn. They have truly bloody hands.
